Idris Olugbesan, Ph.D is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Regent Microfinance Bank Ltd and a member of its executive management team. He brings extensive experience across the financial services industry, having held senior leadership and strategic roles in several financial institutions, including Fidelity Bank. Prior to joining Regent Microfinance Bank, he served as Acting Managing Director and Group Head, Business Development at Hedgeworth Microfinance Bank, with oversight of SME operations in Abuja. Dr. Olugbesan holds a B.Sc. in Political Science, an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Political Economy and Development Studies, and an MBA in Finance and Investment. He is MCIB/CIBN certified and has participated in numerous executive leadership and management development programs.

Taiye Maigidansanmo is the Head of Internal Audit & Compliance at Regent Microfinance Bank, bringing over 10 years of experience across construction, engineering, security, and education sectors. He transitioned to his current role in May 2024 from his position as Senior Accountant at Powerbrid Resources Limited and Head of Finance and Accounts at Solto Guards and Gadgets Limited. Previously, he worked as Inventory Control Manager at SCC Nigeria Limited and Accountant at Noble Guide Academy. Taiye is an Associate member of ICAN and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting and Finance.

Elijah Oladosu is a seasoned Private and Investment Banker with over 12 years of experience in the financial services industry. He specializes in Relationship Management, Investment Advisory, portfolio design, venture capital, tax, insurance, and financial analysis, with a strong focus on UHNIs and HNIs in Nigeria and West Africa. Elijah holds a Bachelor’s in Mass Communication, an MBA in Marketing, and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship. He has built successful portfolios, earned awards for performance, and he joined Regent Microfinance Bank as Chief Marketing Officer.

Kolawole Durotolorun is the Chief Finance Officer at Regent Microfinance Bank Ltd., bringing over 12 years of experience in banking and consultancy. He previously served as Head of Internal Control and Audit at SPEC MFB, then as Head of Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance at Consumer Microfinance Bank. He joined Regent Microfinance Bank in February 2019. He holds a degree in Accountancy and is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, as well as a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).
